The Board also provide the affiliation to many public schools and private schools which work under the state government of Punjab, India. The another objectives of this Board also conducting examination and publishing of textbooks. The main office of the Board are located in SAS Nagar (Mohali), Near Chandigarh.
The Punjab Board handle about 23 districts of Punjab like Amritsar, Bathinda, Barnala, Faridkot, Fatehgarh Sahib, Moga, Shri Muktsar Sahib, SBS Nagar, Pathankot, SAS Nagar, Sangrur, Tarantaran, Fazilka, Ferozepur, Gurdaspur, Hoshiarpur, Patiala, Ludhiana, Jalandhar, Chandigarh & other State and Kapurthala.
