Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on behalf of University Grants Commission (UGC) is going to conduct National Eligibility Test (NET) in the month of December 2021. The examination is conducted to select candidates for the role of Assistant Professor/Lecturer and for Junior Research Fellowships (JRF) in Indian Universities and Colleges.

National Eligibility Test basic objective is to determine eligibility for college & university level lectureship and for award of Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) for Indian nationals in order to ensure minimum standards for the entrants in the teaching profession and research. University Grants Commission (UGC) announced.

So the candidates who clear the National Eligibility Test (NET) successfully would be eligible for lucrative jobs in the public sector undertakings (PSUs). PSUs can utilize UGC-NET scores for the recruitment process of the posts of executives in their organizations in disciplines like science (R&D), management, corporate communications, human resources, finance, etc.

CBSE UGC NET December 2021 Examination Scheme:
Paper -I: This examination applied candidates shall be of general nature, intended to assess the teaching/research aptitude of the candidate. It will primarily be designed to test reasoning ability, comprehension, divergent thinking and general awareness of the candidate.

60 (sixty) multiple choice questions of 2 marks each will be given, out of which the candidate would be required to answer any 50 (fifty). In the event of the candidate attempted more than 50 questions, the first 50 questions attempted by the candidate would be evaluated.

Paper -II: So the consist of 50 objective type compulsory questions based on the subject selected by the candidate. Each question will carry 2 marks.
Paper -III: It will consist of 75 objective type compulsory questions from the subject selected by the candidate. Each question will carry 2 marks.
